Event FAQs
What is the security plan for this event?
Security at this event is a top priority and is being coordinated in partnership with the UJCVP's regional security advisor and Newport News Police Department. Prohibitted items include flags, banners, signs, bags larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and noisemakers. The UJCVP reserves the right to modify this list at any time without notice.
Registration is required. Walk-ins will not be permitted. Disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated, and any guests causing disruption will be immediately escorted off the premises.
Is this event suitable for children?
The event is open to all ages, but some material may be difficult for young children and will be geared toward an adult audience. As children have different levels of knowledge and comfort, we are not stipulating a minimum age of attendees, but rather, ask parents/guardians to decide based on what they believe will be appropriate for their children. We are providing baysitting onsite for parents that want and ask that they reserve their spot here.
