Worship

CongregationOur Temple Family gathers regularly for Shabbat and Holy Day worship. As a Reform congregation, our worship is inclusive and egalitarian. We usually worship using siddurim published by the Central Conference of American Rabbis These include: "Gates of Prayer," "Gates of Prayer for Young People" or "Gates of Repentence". We are blessed to have Ms. Heidi Bloch as our organist and musical director.

Congregation - MealOur Erev Shabbat services usually begin at 7:30 PM on Friday evenings. We generally hold one Family Service each month during the religious school year. These also begin at 7:30, and are usually preceded by a pot-luck dinner. We also have regular "tot-shabbat" celebrations and occasional Shabbat morning services, often for special events. Please consult our calendar for a complete worship schedule.

Tot Shabbat!
This year’s Tot Shabbat program is off to a wonderful start!  We’ve welcomed new friends and old.  The children (and parents!) have had a wonderful time singing, clapping, and hearing stories.  At every Tot Shabbat, we have created a different craft.  So far this year, we have made Tzedakah boxes, planted parsley for Tu Bishevat, the birthday of the trees, and made Shabbat placemats for home.  Instead of Tot Shabbat, we hope our families participate in the Purim Carnival beginning at 5:45! We hope you, your family and friends will join us at our following month’s Tot Shabbat Program on Friday, April 18th from 5:45- 6:15pm. We hope to see you there! Guests are always welcome and Temple Sinai membership is not required for this program.
