5K RUN/WALK AND ONE MILE RUN

A Benefit Race for the Shalom Yeladim Early Childhood Center

TIME:

1 Mile Run- 10:00 am- 5K Run and 5K Fun Walk- 10:30 am,

Kids 50 yd dash no entry fee - 11:30 am
(Race Day Registration: 8:30-9:30am) (5K = 3.1 Miles)

PLACE:

Jewish Community Center, Newport News, Virginia
(Directions to JCC)

COURSE:

Flat, Residential Neighborhood. (Great for experienced runner or first time walker.)
Wheel Chair Entrants Welcome.

ENTRY FEES:

5k Run - $15.00 5K Fun Walk - $15.00 1 Mile - $15.00	5k Run - $20.00 5K Fun Walk - $20.00 1 Mile - $20.00

TEE SHIRTS:

A unique Tee shirt will go to the first 100 registered.

Late registrants are not guaranteed a Tee shirt.

PRIZES & AWARDS:

5K Run:

Top THREE Male and Female overall: Plaques plus Merchandise Prize.
Top two in all other age catagory will receive medals.
Top two in Each Age Category Under 12 Will Receive a Prize. 5K Run Male and Female Age Award Categories:
10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

1 Mile:

The 1 Mile Run is Open to all ages.
BUT - Prizes will be presented to 12 and under ONLY:
Top Three Male and Female in each category.
Trophies to First Place, Medals to Second and Third Place. Award Age Categories: 6 & under, 7-9, 10-12. Ribbons & Surprises to all finishers age 12 and under.

ALL REGISTRANTS WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR MERCHANDISE PRIZES RANDOMLY DRAWN AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE 5K RACE. (See Sponsors).

REFRESHMENTS:

Snack, Fruit, And Drink.
